Our culture and society do not know quite what to do with combinations like that, nor do our professional and employment structures allow for easy ways to become experts in two completely different fields. To me, promiscuity is a way of flitting around. And I deliberately use that metaphor to provoke with its sexual allusion and to point out the real difference to me between polygamy and promiscuity.
